Another Lack Luster Month

WELL NOT COMPLETELY
I’ve had a modest attempt to start the juices flowing in January; rearranged my entire studio and fixed a nasty leak in the window. The studio is, I must add, cleaner and more organized now; much credit goes to my wife.

ANOTHER FACE IN THE WORKS
I've started another painting, in the "Your Pretty Face" Series. Oh and I signed up for a one-man show in September at the New Port Richey Gallery. Now under the new gallery director, Bonnie Bratby-Carey and under a new name: The Downtown New Port Richey Art Gallery.

I had a great conversation with Bonnie: seems like the gallery has gone through some new renovations and much-needed publicity. I’m a bit behind on the paintings but hopefully, I’ll be able to finish the collection. (15 pieces).

STILL IN LIMBO
Not sure if I want to find a new gallery in St Pete. I would think my work needs more of the metropolitan atmosphere. Don't know. One thing that is for sure, once I’m done with the “Your Pretty Face” collection, I’m heading back to my “Dreams on the Way to Tomorrow” style. I can’t wait. I’m sure that that’s where I should be painting; it’s something in myself that needs it. I can’t put it into words …

We’ll see you soon.
